In Vedic astrology, Dasha discussions concern traditional periods used to interpret timing within a birth chart. You may hear terms such as Mahadasha and Antardasha for larger periods and their subdivisions. Ask your practitioner to explain the terms they use before moving into interpretation.
Be clear about birth-time uncertainty
Tell the practitioner if your birth time is approximate, unknown, or taken from a family recollection. Ask how uncertainty affects the reading and which conclusions depend most on precise information. Do not supply an invented time just to complete a form.
Choose a small number of questions
Instead of asking for every future event, identify a few areas you want to reflect on. A focused discussion can leave more time for explanation, alternatives, and questions about how the interpretation was reached.
Leave with context
Ask for a recap of what was discussed, any assumptions made, and the period to which the interpretation refers. A timing reading should not remove your ability to make decisions or substitute for appropriate professional advice. Treat predictions as interpretations, not assured events.
